Brief history
The Great Universal Brotherhood was founded in 1948 by the French scientist Serge Raynaud de la Ferriere in Caracas, Venezuela. Later in 1967 the Dr. José Manuel Estrada Vázquez founded the G.F.U. Mexico-based solar line, currently also called RedGFU. For more than 70 years, the Great Universal Brotherhood has spread to several countries in America and Europe, creating a whole network of yoga institutes, cultural centers and ashrams (retreat places).
The Solar Line formed by Masters José Michán Amiga and Carlos Michán Amiga, from the separation of the RedGFU in 2008. Currently, under the spiritual direction of Master Carlos Michán Amiga. In the year 2020 Master Arbey Arce Abril was graduated as Guru, joining the work of the institution.
The educational mission continues through classes, conferences, workshops, seminars and congresses on the aforementioned topics. And now, continuing to be at the forefront of innovation, it is with great pleasure that we present the Ashrami online course platform.
