Lesson 1. What is medical biomagnetism

1.1 Definition

Medical biomagnetism is a therapeutic system developed by Dr. Isaac Goiz Durán that achieves the bioenergetic balance of the (human) organism through the application of magnetic fields, placing magnets in specific points of the consultant's body. By balancing the body's energy, which can be understood as pH, the terrain is eliminated, inhibiting the proliferation of pathogens; at the same time that it facilitates the recovery of the organism through its own regenerative processes.

" ...Medical Biomagnetism studies, detects, classifies, measures and corrects the fundamental alterations of the pH (hydrogen potential) of living organisms and specifically of human organisms, a very different aspect, because even when in doubt, this is a new therapeutic medical discipline which, fully developed, will be the basis of the medicine of the future..." 1

Medical biomagnetism is a complementary therapy that does not replace the intervention of health professionals such as doctors, cardiologists, oncologists, psychologists, nutritionists, or any other specialist. Medical biomagnetism can be applied in parallel with allopathic medicine treatments. In the same way, it can be applied together with other alternative therapies such as homeopathy, acupuncture, reiki, naturopathy, herbalism, etc. This is possible since medical biomagnetism is a non-invasive treatment, which has side effects in a minimum percentage of people. Given its simplicity, and that it only requires a pair of permanent magnets, as a work tool, it is available to almost anyone.

1.2 Side effects

Side effects, which can occur in a small percentage of people, are really symptoms that are part of a "healing crisis." Or, as an effect of the energetic changes that the consultant's body experiences. The curative crisis occurs in a minimum percentage of patients, especially those who have suffered from a chronic and / or acute disease. It is a process by which the body eliminates toxins and follows a series of symptoms that can bring it back to homeostatic balance. Symptoms can be diarrhea, sweating, dizziness, even fever. The person should not be alarmed since they are generally exceeded in a few days. They can also be reduced by applying some special pairs to balance the body's energy, which are presented in the list of Special Pairs in our Biomagnetism Guide under the name “energy balance”.

1.3 Contraindications

Medical biomagnetism has a minimum of contraindications, but it is very important to take them into account:

  • Do not apply to people with electronic devices such as valves, pacemakers, etc.
  • Do not apply in pregnant women
  • Do not apply to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

Note: For beginners it is recommended not to treat any of the people who have the above contraindications. When advancing in the practice, they can be treated at the discretion of the therapist, taking into consideration the following aspects:
Biomagnetism can be applied to people with electronic devices, as long as they do not approach less than 30 centimeters from the device, to prevent the magnetic field of the magnet from damaging or altering the operation of the device.
Pregnant women may be treated after the twelfth week of pregnancy, also depending on the health status of the woman, the fetus and the condition of the pregnancy. Points near the belly should be avoided throughout pregnancy.
There is controversy regarding giving biomagnetism treatment to a patient receiving chemotherapy. At first, Dr. Goiz has mentioned that chemotherapy inhibits the healing action of magnets and that it can cause unexpected reactions. In addition, we will have to consider the possible legal problems that may arise when treating a person with a delicate state of health, and who in many cases are on the verge of death.
Following certain basic guidelines, the application of magnets does not represent any danger to the health of the consultant, therefore, it is a safe tool, which on the other hand can provide incredible results. The greatest danger is that the person puts her health at risk by abandoning some medical treatment. Therefore, the consultant should always be recommended to continue with their medical studies, consultations and treatments prescribed by the health professional or professionals who are treating them. In other words, medical Biomagnetism does not replace professional treatments, it must be practiced as a complementary therapy.
